Philip the Evangelist

Philip the Evangelist one of the seven chosen in Jerusalem who preached in Samaria baptized many and guided the Ethiopian eunuch into faith. He exemplifies evangelistic zeal practical ministry and the spread of the gospel beyond Jewish boundaries. His ministry in Samaria and along the road to Gaza shows the early church moving into new social and ethnic spheres and demonstrates the role of lay leaders in mission and teaching.
