Psalm Chapter 51 Verse 1
“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness.”
Prayer for mercy draws believers into Gods compassionate presence. This message is echoed in the hymn Depth Of Mercy, which offers a gentle reminder of Gods steady presence and the hope He provides. Reading the Bible is essential for every Christian because it shapes the mind, nourishes the spirit, and anchors the soul in the promises of God. Scripture brings clarity when life feels confusing, comfort when the heart feels burdened, and wisdom for every step of the journey. Through the living words of the Bible, believers learn how to trust God more fully, walk with courage, and grow in grace each day. The verse declares, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness.
